The Human Computer Interaction Research Group (GHCI) of the University of Informatics Sciences and the VERTEX Interactive Environments Center, together with the Temporary Group of the Videogame Industry, convene the First International Workshop on Human Computer Interface Technologies (HCI-Cuba 2023) within the framework of the V International Convention UCIENCIA 2023.
The objective of this workshop is the integral analysis of Human Computer Interface (HCI) technologies, in a world of technological convergences, with the revolutions of the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence. The workshop aims to continue contributing to the development of the HCI discipline in the country, for which scientific reflections and contributions in this field are essential.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the Convention, under the imprint Ediciones Futuro with the corresponding ISBN registration. A selection of the papers will be proposed for publication in an issue of Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing published by Springer.
