The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) of Cuba announced the fifth edition of its International Scientific Conference UCIENCIA, which will take place from September 27-29, 2023 in Varadero, Cuba.
UCIENCIA has become a reference space for Cuban and foreign professionals linked to the field of computer and computational sciences. Since its first edition in 2014, the event has assumed an international character, with the aim of consolidating the presence of UCI in the global arena, updating participants on topics of high scientific and technological relevance, and promoting cooperation between institutions of informatics and computing.
The 2023 edition will feature keynote lectures, workshops, expert panels and paper presentations, which will discuss the latest advances in data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, open source software, and the application of information technologies in sectors such as bioinformatics, industry and education.
UCIENCIA has become the scientific event par excellence of the UCI and a space of great relevance to analyze the impact of digital technologies and propose informatics solutions for the development of the country. The university invites researchers, professors and industry professionals to participate in this new edition of the conference.
