The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) invites professionals engaged in training, research, development and innovations in the fields of computer science and other areas related to the development of higher education, to participate in the V UCIENCIA International Scientific Conference, to be held from September 27 to 29, 2023 in the Varadero Beach Resort, Cuba. The conference aims at providing a space for the exchange of experiences, disseminating research results and promoting cooperation among the participating institutions.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION OF PAPERS

Receipt of proposals will start by January 20, 2023 through the EasyChair platform https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=uciencia2023 or through Springer's OCS, depending on the specific event in which you will participate. For more information and to access the paper template, please visit: https://uciencia.uci.cu.

Papers will be submitted to double-blind peer review, and their acceptance will be subject to the evaluation of the Scientific Committee corresponding to each workshop theme.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the Conference under the Ediciones Futuro imprint with the corresponding ISBN registration. A selection of papers will be proposed for publication in journals related to the topics of each workshop. Furthermore, some papers on specific topics will be published in selected books from Springer editorial.

Spanish and English.

May 20, 2023: Notification of acceptance by the Scientific Committee.

June 20, 2023: Deadline for receipt of corrected papers

REGISTRATION FEE

Includes: certificate of participation, accreditation module, conference proceedings, and meals during the sessions of each workshop.

(*) Before paying their registration fee, undergraduate students must have their works accepted. In addition, they must confirm their status by attaching a letter signed by the Dean of the College with the corresponding seal of the institution.    

PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

1.   Foreign participants will make their payment through the gateways to be declared on the site of the event.

2.   National participants will pay by bank transfer or through one of the national payment gateways.
