Computer Engineer, graduate certificate in Big Data, in Health Informatics, and a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). He's also been awarded a Ph.D. from Sorbonne Université, while conducting causal inference research at Institut Curie. He has expertise in patient monitoring systems, telehealth, picture and archiving communication systems (PACSs), hospital automation, systems for human resources in health, bioinformatics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
He's currently developer of the Nextflow and nf-core for Latin America and the Caribbean at Seqera Labs, where he's assisting researchers to approach, with the help of nextflow, common barriers in science and science reproducibility.
