Innovating and transforming in the University of the 21st century implies that the main actors of the teaching and learning process -teachers and students-, develop a continuous training process in the acquisition of digital competencies and skills that allow them to face the demands that society requires. But are we really prepared in the educational field to train in these digital competencies? Characteristics, transformations, innovations and didactic possibilities, as well as pedagogical frameworks around the concept of digital competencies, will be addressed throughout the conference, helping us to understand why and how to face this transformation process in the university.
